A Cook at OTG is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experience. This role requires the ability to consistently prepare food to precise temperature, portion, and plating standards, while working with urgency and upholding strict cleanliness and sanitation protocols. OTG leaders work closely with cooks to ensure clarity around expectations and goals, while actively supporting skill development and career progression. In This Role, You Will: Prepare menu items for respective stations, ensuring all ingredients are prepped, portioned, and accessible for smooth service. Follow and adhere to OTG specifications and restaurant directions, controlling the quality of all food items prepared and served. Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Operate all kitchen equipment efficiently and safely, including knives, stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, and kettles. Qualifications/Criteria: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. 2+ years of culinary experience in a high-volume, full service or multi-unit environment preferred. Experience working in a variety of stations; meat, fish, pizza, pasta, garde manger etc. Must successfully obtain ServSafe certification or equivalent within 30 days of being hired, offered by OTG.     We are seeking a hardworking, attentive, and service-oriented Food Runner to support both our dining room and open kitchen operations. The Food Runner is an essential member of the service team, responsible for delivering food from the kitchen to the dining room with speed, accuracy, and care while maintaining the presentation and quality established by the Chef. Because Norte features an open kitchen, this position will work closely with the culinary team and may be called upon to assist with finishing plates, garnishing, organizing the pass, and supporting the Chef and kitchen team in multiple capacities. This role requires physical stamina, strong attention to detail, the ability to safely carry large food trays and multiple plates, and the ability to remain calm and organized during busy service. The Food Runner must be prepared to move seamlessly between the kitchen and dining room while maintaining Norte's standards of hospitality, food quality, cleanliness, and professionalism. In preparation for our upcoming opening, this position requires participation in a mandatory training program. Job summary: Experienced Peer Specialist to work on a newly funded innovative Care Transition team that serves participants transitioning to the community from a higher level of care. As a member of the Pathway Home multi-disciplinary team the Peer Specialist position will work under the supervision of the Team Leader. The role will involve facilitating transition from one level of care to the community by addressing the preparatory needs of participants in the early stages of recovery, discharge planning, development of daily living skills, and coping mechanisms through team and individual work in the community. The team will follow individuals into the community using the Pathway Home model of care to ensure that they become both linked and engaged with identified community providers and that their support network is sufficient to meet their needs. The Peer Specialist engages participants in peer-based services to identify and overcome barriers to community integration, utilizing a peer relationship to foster connection, trust, understanding and validation with community providers and supports. The role will require on call coverage and a willingness to work flexible hours. Job Responsibilities: • Engagement beginning from referring location with involvement in transition planning, including a needs assessment of community transition supports essential to stabilizing the participant;, • Individual sessions with participants emphasizing prevention and preparing for independent community living and the promotion of optimum mental and emotional health.
