Job Description Boutique Accounting Firm in Long Island is looking for a reliable Administrative Assistant that can work well in a fast-paced, office-based setting. We have regular business hours 9AM - 5PM, with potential for increased hours during tax season or month-end Key Responsibilities and Duties • Accounting Support: Data entry for accounts payable and receivable, preparing invoices, assisting with bank reconciliations, and maintaining general ledger records., • Office Administration: Answering phones, managing emails, scheduling appointments, scanning/filing documents, and maintaining office supplies., • Customer/Vendor Interaction: Serving as the front-counter contact, resolving basic inquiries, and managing vendor relationships., • Education: High school diploma required; Associate degree in accounting, finance, or office administration preferred., • Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and some experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks), • Technical Skills: Ability to operate standard office equipment., • Attributes: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality
