Job Description GTI is hiring three (3) experienced Field Service Engineers to support semiconductor metrology equipment in Fishkill, New York. We are looking for hands-on semiconductor equipment professionals who can troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, maintain, calibrate, and return production-critical tools to service. This is not an entry-level position. Direct semiconductor equipment experience is required. What You’ll Do • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM), • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures, • Repair equipment and restore tools to production, • Replace failed parts, components, and assemblies, • Perform equipment calibration, alignment, and verification, • Support tool uptime, reliability, and performance, • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, vacuum, robotics, motion-control, and wafer-handling systems, • Perform equipment installations, upgrades, and qualifications as needed, • Identify root causes and implement corrective actions, • Document service activity, repairs, parts usage, and technical findings, • Provide direct technical support to customers, • Work independently and take ownership of equipment issues through resolution What We’re Looking For • 2+ years of hands-on semiconductor equipment experience, • Field Service Engineer, Customer Engineer, Equipment Engineer, Equipment Technician, or comparable semiconductor equipment background, • Strong equipment troubleshooting and fault-isolation skills, • Experience performing PMs, CMs, repairs, calibration, and parts replacement, • Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics, • Experience with vacuum, robotics, wafer handling, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems, • Ability to work independently in a semiconductor cleanroom environment, • Strong customer communication and technical documentation skills CD-SEM, DR-SEM, SEM, e-beam, metrology, or defect review equipment experience is highly desirable.
