Job Description Job Summary: The Case Aide provides support and client related services within the Preventive Services Dept including “support activities” such as interviewing clients; collecting information about family situations; directly assisting children and family members in various ways, i.e. providing transportation, home visits, accompanying parents to service providers, participating in and reporting observations and findings at case conferences. Furthermore, Case Aide will carry administrative functions such as petty cash, reconciling receipts and generating reports. Job Responsibilities: • Work closely with the Case Planners to provide collateral services to individuals and families. Attend JHV with Case Planners and CPS at initiation of case., • To assist and/or model for our parents (caretakers) and children methods to achieve their service plan goals. To participate in supportive services such as recreation and educational programs which support behavioral goals for the children., • To request all school and medical reports; document in Connections utilizing appropriate progress note template and file in case record. Place printed copies of all important document in case files., • To assist the families in accessing in-house and community-based services to address issues that place a child at risk of foster care placement and promote maximum safety, supervision and support for children and their families. This includes but is not limited to accompanying parents to programs, other service providers, domestic violence shelters, and any concrete services that may be needed. Complete referral applications and gather all required support documentation., • To enter their progress notes in CONNX within 5 days of the occurrence utilizing progress note template. Submit hard copies of their progress notes in draft form on a weekly basis to their supervisor. Insert copies of all printed progress notes in case file and file in cabinets. Quality of progress notes must be informative, descriptive and purpose driven., • To make required home visits including collateral caregiver homes where children are cared for during the month and collateral contacts, in order to meet ACS minimum contact mandates, as well as, requirements of the specific model assigned to. Always ensuring the safety of the children and family. Submit weekly calendar of scheduled visits to their supervisor., • Submit the monthly PROMIS report; and generate the case work contact reports, supervisor reports, characteristics reports as well as other necessary reports., • Participate in mandatory once a week individual and unit supervision; attend all mandatory trainings, general staff meetings, as well as serve on committees as assigned., • Check files for necessary updated documentation and assessments to ensure they are within the ACS, OCFS, and Rising Ground Standards., • Archive all closed cases by Logging, storing, shipping closed cases., • Provide ongoing coverage to the receptionist area as assigned in a rotation schedule., • Bachelor’s degree preferred plus a minimum of two years of prior experience as an Office Assistant; or High School Degree or GED equivalent also considered with prior experience in child welfare environment., • Must demonstrate strong organizational and computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook. Familiarity with Excel a plus., • Driver’s license a plus., • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus Supervisory Responsibility: No Work Environment: Office, with one (1) remote day every two (2) weeks. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Reports to: Construction Manager (Underground) The Lead TBM Tunnel Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality excavation. This role will oversee ground improvement works, interpret geotechnical and instrumentation data, and implement mitigation measures as required to safeguard adjacent structures and maintain compliance with design and safety standards. The Lead TBM Tunnel Manager will serve as a key advisor to project leadership, providing technical direction during tunneling operations and ensuring alignment with project objectives. The Lead TBM Tunner Manager’s key responsibilities are: • Planning and execution of all TBM tunneling operations., • Supervising ground improvement works to ensure safe excavation and minimize ground deformations., • Overseeing TBM operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality of construction., • Developing and implementing TBM procedures and operational strategies tailored to variable ground conditions, including soil, rock, and mixed-face geology., • Evaluating instrumentation readings daily and preparing written interpretations of geotechnical measurements taken during TBM excavation., • Coordinating and implementing mitigation measures when instrumentation alert or limit values are reached or are at risk of being reached., • Participating in daily site progress meetings with the Project CEO and contributing to strategic decision-making., • Submitting daily reports documenting TBM performance, instrumentation results, and ground behavior., • Maintain full availability during active TBM operations to provide technical support and immediate decision-making., • Coordinating with design, construction, and HSE teams to ensure integrated planning and response to unforeseen conditions., • Supporting risk assessments and participating in the development of contingency plans related to TBM operations., • Managing interface with TBM manufacturer representatives and subcontractors involved in tunnel excavation and segmental lining., • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mining, Geotechnical Engineering, or related discipline., • Minimum of 15 years of experience in underground construction., • Successful completion of at least three (3) pressurized-face TBM driven tunnels with precast segmental liners in variable rock, soil, and mixed-face ground conditions of similar size and purpose within the last 15 years., • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of New York preferred, but not required., • Proven expertise in TBM operations, ground improvement techniques, and geotechnical instrumentation., • Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams in high-risk underground environments., • Proficiency with geotechnical monitoring systems, TBM operation software, and reporting tools., • Experience with bored tunnel construction, micro-tunnels, and SEM construction., • Familiarity with tunnel monitoring systems (e.g., instrumentation for ground movement, water ingress)., • Experience with tunnel lining systems (e.g., shotcrete, segmental lining, waterproofing membranes)., • Experience with subway project construction, delivery, and handover of tunnel assets., • Knowledge of government regulations related to the construction industry., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)., • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Gantt chart planning)., • Familiarity with BIM tools (e.g., Navisworks, Revit) for underground coordination., • Familiarity with large-span support systems and structural concrete works., • Understanding of geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring., • Ability to interpret complex underground construction drawings., • Proficiency in construction documentation and reporting tools., • Work is primarily at active underground construction sites with exposure to confined spaces, dust, noise, vibration, and variable ground conditions., • Must be able to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods; navigate uneven ground, scaffolding, and ladders; and work around heavy tunneling equipment., • Requires regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety boots, high-visibility clothing, and eye/ear protection as necessary., • Ability to perform site inspections, monitor field activities, and respond quickly to safety or operational issues in physically demanding conditions., • Flexibility to work extended hours, nights, weekends, and rotating shifts as project demands require. Job Description Summary Incumbent is responsible for the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic through Metering Control of departure traffic on the Non-movement areas of the Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR). Dimensions of Position A Ground Management Program (GMP) operator shall support the system in a tactical and pre-tactical nature, shall work on site at EWR and shall be the primary System Operator during all times that the system is in operation. A GMP Operator shall have a thorough working knowledge of Air Traffic Management in the New York Region, in particular, the impact of fix and route availability in relation to the health of the surface operation at EWR. Incumbent works under the general supervision of the Ground Management Program Manager who relies on the incumbent to perform established duties independently. On new or revised procedures, the manager gives detailed instructions, observes, and checks work during or immediately after completion according to complexity of the task or until satisfied the incumbent is able to perform the procedure independently. Accountability • Makes decisions and recommendations involving:, • The sequence and separation of gate traffic ready for pushback and engine start., • Plans the sequence of arriving traffic, using provided electronic aids, i.e. Aerobahn, prior to arrival at the airport., • The merging of arriving and pushback traffic that will assure all aircraft equitable treatment and provide for minimum delays., • Determines the usability of and resolves problems with:, • Communications equipment, • Aerobahn Technology, • Gate Management computer programs, • EWR GMP is not a positive control facility. Incumbent will be required to communicate recommended actions to airline, airport, and FAA employees to aid them in coordinating with each other to determine when to instruct aircraft to taxi, who to follow, taxi route, intermediate hold points, route clearance limit, and frequency transfer points., • Incumbent will initiate, and respond to, necessary coordination with EWR ATCT Ground Control concerning the movements of inbound and outbound aircraft., • Execute procedures required of the local Surface Movement Guidance and Control System Plan (SMGCS) during periods of reduced visibility, execution of the local Ice Threat Management Plan during periods of aircraft anti-icing, and the local Gate Hold program when initiated by the FAA EWR ATCT., • Provide airlines with, when required, field conditions, altimeter settings, weather conditions, operating status of navigational aids and NOTAMS., • Performs lower grade level duties as necessary to meet operational requirements and for proficiency maintenance. Individuals with previous experience at one of the New York Airports are preferred. A qualified individual must have at least 2 years experience as a fully qualified, active ATC, pilot or airline dispatcher. Have the ability to deal with customers in a courteous, enthusiastic and professional manner; ability to effectively use interpersonal skills in order to resolve problems and customer complaints. PROGRAM PLANNING • Provides information, documentation, shares observations and offers insights into the development of individual support, plans and implementation of chosen POM’s. • Documents all services and support provided to individuals supported based on them Individualized program plan(s) and enter information into computerized system. • Tracks and documents individual’s progress on goals. • Assists the individuals in planning and preparing meals while following dietary menus, eating protocols and serving all meals in a family style manner. • Reviews and initials communication log(s) upon arriving at assigned work site, documents all activities and information in the daily log. • Administers and documents Medication Administration per AMAP training and doctor’s orders; teachers, observes, reports problems and progress in self-administration of medication programs; assist individuals in achieving more independence in administration of medications. • Notifies program nurse and manager/supervisor of any changes in medication, individual’s condition, or any other health related concerns. • Follows all OPWDD and Organization’s Policies and Procedures regarding reporting injuries, incidents, or other related events. • Identifies and responds to unexpected, unplanned, and emergency situations as they occur. notifies appropriate management and follows the Agencies Policies and Procedures. MAINTAINING THE ENVIRONMENT • Ensures that the program environment is clean, safe and offers a positive home like environment. DSPs are expected to report any equipment malfunction, structure concerns or any safety issues. • Observes and follows through on established emergency notification procedures in a manner which ensures the safety and welfare of all individuals at all times. • Ensures a safe environment is maintained at all times. • Conducts and documents fire drills following the Fire Evacuation Plan; reports any system or equipment malfunction to their supervisor. OTHER • Maintains all certifications and licensures as required (AMAP, SCIP-R, CPR, First Aid) • Maintains confidentiality of information in accordance with HIPAA regulations, the Employee handbook and organization Policies and Procedures. • Actively participates in staff meetings, training, and personal development goals. AWAKE OVERNIGHT STAFF – These are staff that work overnight shifts but stay awake throughout their shift. In addition to the The above responsibilities the DSP working the awake-overnight position will: • Complete bed checks, as applicable and document on logs • Complete, read and file appropriate documentation including progress notes and critical incident reports. • Support all individuals within the program at bedtime and morning routines as written in the habilitation plans. • Respond to all emergencies, as per the Organization incident reporting policy. • Follow the overnight shift assignments Your Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalency Diploma; Preferred Six months work experience with individuals with I/DD. Willingness to continue to develop professional skills and educational opportunities. LANGUAGE SKILLS Good written and verbal communication skills; Bi-lingual a plus; ability to learn basic sign language when needed MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Basic routine documentation and tabulation of progress REASONING SKILLS Able to align POMS/ Code of Ethics/ DSP competencies and incorporate standards into daily activities and support offered to individuals within all programs. COMPUTER SKILLS Basic computer skills required, such as Word, Excel etc. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS Must be cleared through a Criminal Background Check and Fingerprinting by Justice Center, MHLS, and OCFS; must acquire and maintain mandatory training as required (AMAP, SCIP, CPR, and First Aid); must possess and maintain a valid NYS Driver’s License (except for Community Habilitation Services). OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Positive attitude towards working with individuals with developmental disabilities (ID/DD) and ability to success fully work in a team environment including with other staff, families, and community members. DSP’s must be able to demonstrate creativity and flexibility in their daily job activities. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Able to demonstrate skills and support individuals with disabilities; able to assist an individual physically when needed; able to lift and/or assist a person in an emergency WORK ENVIRONMENT Able to tolerate and work in a busy and stimulating environment. Able to encourage positive attitude toward individuals’ capabilities and limitations due to his/her disabilities. DSP’s must be open to support individuals in a variety of community settings.
