THE ROLE At Lost Coffee, the Store Manager leads from within — working shoulder-to-shoulder with the team to model hospitality, protect quality, and build a healthy café. This role is responsible for the long-term health of the store. A strong Store Manager develops people, protects the guest experience, and ensures the café runs calmly, consistently, and sustainably. Success in this role is measured by whether the store improves month over month — not by how much the manager personally carries. WHAT YOU’LL DOLead the Team • Hire, train, and develop baristas and shift leaders, • Provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing development, • Set clear expectations and maintain accountability, • Develop Guides and Head Guides who can lead independently Protect the Guest Experience • Model genuine hospitality on the floor, • Coach the team during real service moments, • Ensure guests feel welcomed, respected, and cared for Steward Craft & Quality • Maintain Lost beverage and food standards, • Protect workflow that supports both quality and speed, • Support barista training and certification Run Clean Operations • Create schedules and staffing plans, • Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships, • Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and store readiness Own the Business • Understand sales patterns and traffic trends, • Manage labor and costs responsibly, • Identify issues early and adjust quickly WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR You may be a strong fit if you: • Have leadership experience in hospitality, retail, or coffee, • Enjoy developing people and building strong teams, • Communicate clearly and directly, • Take pride in organized, well-run spaces, • Stay calm and decisive under pressure, • Care deeply about hospitality and service WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS A great Store Manager doesn’t just run shifts.
