Special Education Teacher – Full Time 2026–2027 School Year Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week Schedule: Monday–Friday Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The Special Education Teacher will provide individualized instruction and support to students with disabilities while fostering academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth in a supportive educational environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and school staff to ensure students receive high-quality instruction and services aligned with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines Provide specialized instruction in individual, small group, and inclusive classroom settings Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation, reports, and data collection Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including general education teachers, therapists, psychologists, and administrators Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and school-based team meetings Implement classroom management strategies and positive behavioral interventions Support students in developing academic, communication, social, and functional skills Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field Valid state teaching certification/licensure in Special Education Knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and instructional best practices Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred Benefits Competitive compensation Weekly pay Supportive school and administrative team Professional development opportunities Meaningful opportunity to positively impact student success Employment Type Full-Time, School-Based Position for the 2026–2027 School Year.
