    Driver Education Instructor – Department of Education (DOE Pathways Program) Location: Bronx, (Multiple NYC Public High Schools) Schedule: Contract | $100 per session About the Role Drive Forward Academy is expanding its Pathways Forward initiative — a high-impact driver’s education and career-readiness program offered within NYC public high schools. We are seeking dynamic, mission-driven instructors to guide students through the fundamentals of driver’s education while introducing them to broader career opportunities in transportation, logistics, and mobility technology. Key Responsibilities • Teach structured driver’s education and permit-prep lessons following DFA’s approved DOE curriculum., • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate instruction with real-world applications that connect driving to workforce pathways., • Inspire and mentor students toward long-term success through accountability, discipline, and goal-setting., • Track attendance, participation, and student progress; submit reports in accordance with DOE guidelines., • Represent DFA’s mission by fostering a supportive, motivational learning environment for all students. Qualifications • Valid New York State Driver’s License (required)., • Must be able to pass DOE fingerprinting and background clearance., • Experience working with youth, schools, or community programs preferred., • Passion for mentorship, education, and community development strongly encouraged.     Off Da Beaten Path Learning LLC seeks a part-time in-person STEM Educator to guide a 10th grade homeschool learner through our self-directed education model, where students choose what, how, and when they learn. Success is measured by learner confidence, creativity, and independence. 88% of learners achieve their self-defined goals. 64% identify as neurodivergent and/or disabled. Key Responsibilities Support and coach learners through curiosity-driven, individualized sessions. Prepare based on each learner’s goals and needs. Encourage accountability and growth. Collaborate with families and team members. Details In-person, 3–5 hrs/week (prep and meetings). Location will vary (coffee shops, libraries, museums, the park, etc). Weekly schedule: ~2 hrs prep, 2 hrs learner meetings, 1 hr parent meeting/month. Paid onboarding and training. $680/month, prorated for training or time off.     The Department of Mechanical Engineering of The City College of the City University of New York (CCNY) invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position (Doctoral Schedule) in mechanical engineering design and practice. The successful candidate will teach courses at both graduate and undergraduate levels, develop innovative instructional techniques, and contribute to curriculum development in collaboration with other faculty members. Preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching mechanical systems design, computer aided design (CAD), engineering materials and associated labs, manufacturing and senior design. In addition, familiarity with incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) into instruction will be considered an asset.
