Key Functions • Lead all financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support organizational growth., • Advise the President and senior leadership on financial performance, risk, and capital management., • Evaluate and enhance financial systems, processes, and controls for accuracy and compliance., • Oversee general ledger accounting, month-end and year-end close, and preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements., • Manage the chart of accounts, reporting structures, and financial system integrations., • Review WIP schedules, job cost reports, and percent-complete revenue recognition., • Ensure timely, accurate AIA billing and project closeout reconciliations., • Partner with operations to identify financial risks and opportunities at the project level., • Lead annual audits and coordinate with external accounting firms., • Supervise and mentor a finance team: Treasurer, Accounts Payable, and Payroll. Qualifications • CPA, MBA, or equivalent advanced credential strongly preferred., • 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including managing accounting teams in construction or related industries., • Expertise in GAAP, WIP, cost accounting, revenue recognition, and financial modeling., • Hands-on experience with AIA billing, cash flow forecasting, and project financial management., • Proficiency with Sage 300 CRE and familiarity with Procore or similar construction management platforms., • Demonstrated ability to partner with Operations and Project Management to improve financial performance., • Proven leadership skills with the ability to oversee Treasury, AP, and cross-functional finance processes., • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
