Job DescriptionSummary We are seeking a warm, welcoming, and organized Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth and positive guest experience from arrival to departure. Key Responsibilities * Greet guests as they arrive and provide a friendly, welcoming first impression. * Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using the reservation system or seating chart. * Escort guests to their tables and present menus. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and waiting areas. * Communicate accurately with servers and managers regarding guest needs and table availability. * Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide restaurant information as needed. * Assist with special requests such as seating arrangements or guest accommodations. * Monitor dining room flow and coordinate seating to maximize efficiency. * Support team members by assisting with service tasks when needed. Qualifications * Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Professional, polished appearance and demeanor. * Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Physical Requirements * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. * Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
