Job Summary The Credentialing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the payor enrollment function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant enrollment of clinical providers, including Primary Care Providers, Specialists, and Ancillary Providers. This role provides direct supervision to credentialing staff, manages complex and escalated enrollment cases, and ensures all processes adhere to federal, state, and payor regulatory requirements. She/he is responsible for maintaining OASAS regulatory compliance and serves as a leader in driving quality improvement and delivery of the CCBHC. Job Description Summary: Safe Horizon manages a 5-year grant by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) to raise the standard of care for traumatized children in New York City. REACH focuses on school-aged children and older through the implementation of anti-oppressive, age-appropriate trauma interventions. The Director SAMHSA Child Trauma Initiatives is responsible for integrating the staff development and direct service components of REACH to facilitate their implementation in Safe Horizon’s child trauma cluster which includes our Safe Horizon Counseling Center (SHCC), Child Advocacy Centers (CACs), Child Trauma Response Team (CTRT), and Safe Way Forward (SWF) program. The Director will continue to serve as Principal Investigator (PI) of REACH initiative. They will be responsible for the activities of the program to provide all our clients, school-age children up to age 17 and their families, with a service experience while maintaining data collection systems, evaluation programs, and maintaining full compliance with all federal regulations and reporting requirements for the program The Director also ensures the implementation of effective evaluation measures and completion of all client-level assessments and data gathering that is required for REACH. The Director will report to and collaborate regularly with the Vice President Children and Mental Health on REACH administration activities. Responsibilities: The Director is responsible for the design, launch, administration, evaluation, reporting, and outcomes of REACH while maintaining this child trauma program that includes influencing city-wide systems and practice enhancements in collaboration with national child trauma model developers, government partners, and an array of internal stakeholders to ensure the success of these initiatives. Reporting to the Associate Director of Actuarial Analytics, you will own the development of ROI models that quantify cost savings and downstream impact for our employer and payer populations. Please note that this is a hybrid role based in New York City, with an expectation to be in the office 2–3 days per week at our 60 Madison Avenue location. Candidates must be based in the NYC metro area or able to relocate independently within 90 days of their start date. Occasional travel will be required for team on-sites. What you'll do • Build and maintain actuarial ROI models to quantify cost savings, utilization changes, and downstream impact across employer and payer populations, • Present ROI findings directly to prospects and clients, distilling complex technical concepts into compelling, executive-ready storytelling, • Develop strong partnerships with revenue, product, finance, and data science teams to align on core assumptions, • Support emerging product evaluations by refining methodologies and validating financial assumptions, • Contribute actuarial expertise to product prototyping and development to help shape scalable financial frameworks, • Build custom savings and cost models using Excel and other spreadsheet applications, • Query databases using SQL to extract and analyze data to inform model assumptions, • Communicate the impact of custom configurations on price and margin to internal stakeholders, • Leverage AI tools to enhance the speed and quality of results delivered to our customers, • Develop a deep understanding of how Spring Health delivers value to customers, specifically through health plan integration, • Clearly communicate analytical concepts and financial results to both technical and non-technical audiences, including customers and internal leadership, • Successfully partner with cross-functional teams to launch ROI measurement frameworks for new products, • Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (ASA or FSA) designation, • 5+ years of experience in financial or actuarial analysis, • Hands-on experience working with medical claims data, including ICD-10 and CPT codes, • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience writing SQL queries to retrieve data, • Ability to work independently and align priorities with cross-functional stakeholders, • A focus on progress over perfection, with the ability to remain poised in a fast-paced environment, • Experience working on small, agile teams or within a startup environment (preferred), • Experience in external-facing roles or client presentations (preferred), • Experience in vendor evaluation or benefits consulting (preferred), • Health, Dental, Vision benefits start on your first day at Spring.
