Job DescriptionSalary: To Be Discussed Position Overview The Director of Sales will lead our strategies for new client acquisition, drive revenue growth, and expand the company's reach in key vertical markets, while focusing on building and mentoring high-performing sales teams. This leadership role requires a long-term strategic thinker with a proven background in sales and team development, skilled in identifying market opportunities, achieving ambitious sales targets, and fostering enduring client relationships. The ideal candidate will work closely with Accordant Marketing to optimize lead and sales pipeline generation and will collaborate with Accordant Client Success Management to align our sales efforts with the long-term goals we have for our clients and our platform. Key Responsibilities Revenue Growth: • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and consistently meet or exceed sales targets, • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture which ultimately prioritizes industry-leading, long-term positive outcomes for our clients, • Establish clear performance goals, provide regular coaching and feedback, and support team members in their professional growth, • Work closely with the executive team to align sales strategy with broader business objectives, • Collaborate with Accordant Marketing to align campaigns with sales objectives and expand brand presence in key markets, • Oversee the entire sales funnel, from lead generation through closing, with a focus on optimizing conversion rates, • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on sales performance, KPIs, and strategic objectives, • Partner with and support the Accordant Client Success Management organization in their perpetual efforts to enhance client satisfaction and improve retention rates, building and nurturing long-term client relationships by understanding client needs and delivering value-driven solutions Initial Target Objectives Team Development: • Build and mentor a high-performing team of Account Executives (AEs) with a focus on consultative selling of ERP software in key verticals like Construction and Real Estate (CRE), Distribution, Financial Services, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Nonprofit, • Implement initiatives to enhance lead generation and conversion, expanding sales pipeline growth and establishing a useful degree of forecasting predictability Preferred Attributes Results-Oriented and Performance-Driven: * • Deep commitment to understanding client needs and providing exceptional service Exceptional Team-Building and Mentorship Skills: * • Proficient in interpreting sales data to optimize strategies and make informed decisions Qualifications • Bachelors degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred, • 7+ years of sales experience, including leadership roles, with a track record of driving revenue growth, • Strong team leadership skills with a focus on coaching and developing talent, • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, • Proficiency in CRM software and business analytics tools, • Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Direct Reports • Account Executives (AEs), • Business Development Representatives (BDRs) Location: Hybrid - Remote optional, NYC / NYC Metro preferred Always Choose Exceptional | Lead with Integrity | Embody Respect and Care Deeply | Embrace Change and Innovation Note:Candidates must be authorized to work in the US or Canada; we cannot provide sponsorship at this time.
