Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department, • Discipline: RN, • Start Date: 09/01/2025, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, nights Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team, specializing in Telemetry. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, competent, and effective patient care while utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct patient care in accordance with the established scope of practice., • Conduct thorough patient assessments and communicate clinical conditions to the physician., • Implement patients’ care plans and respond quickly and accurately to changes in conditions or treatment responses., • Direct and guide patient and family education, as well as the activities of other nursing personnel., • Maintain professionalism and uphold standards of nursing care in the Emergency Department., • Adhere to EMTALA regulations and appropriately report child/adult abuse cases to relevant authorities., • Current and valid state RN License., • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification., • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification., • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification., • NIHSS or Stroke Certification preferred., • COVID vaccination and boosters preferred., • EDAP 1 & 2 certifications and BVP (MAB) training will be an advantage., • COVID-19 Vaccine (for onboarding)., • MMR and Hepatitis B vaccinations (for onboarding)., • Influenza vaccine (for onboarding)., • Tuberculosis (TB) test and fit test (for onboarding)., • Tdap and Varicella vaccinations (for onboarding)., • Driver’s License or State ID (for onboarding)., • Successful completion of a criminal background check (for onboarding)., • Compliance with drug screening (minimum 10-panel test for onboarding).
