The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cardiac monitoring, acute patient care, and the ability to manage multiple high-acuity patients efficiently. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. Requirements:\t • Active RN License (TX or Compact)\t, • Minimum 1 year of Telemetry/Med Surg experience\t, • Experience with patient ratios of 1:4–5\t, • BLS & ACLS (AHA) – Required\t, • NIHSS – Required\t, • Experience with Epic EMR – Required\t, • Trauma Level II experience – Preferred\t, • Travel experience – Not requiredKey Skills & Responsibilities:\t, • Continuous cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation\t, • Administration of medications including cardiac and heparin drips\t, • IV therapy, phlebotomy, and central/peripheral line management\t, • Management of respiratory support (BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, oxygen therapy)\t, • Blood product administration and post-procedural care\t, • Care for patients with cardiac, neurological, and respiratory conditions\t, • Maintain patient safety, infection control, and accurate documentationPatient Population & Unit Details:\t, • Adult & Geriatric patients\t, • Patient Ratio: 1:4–5\t, • Daily Census: 25 patients | 26 beds\t, • Common Diagnoses: CHF, NSTEMI, COPD, Sepsis, ESRD, Pneumonia, Stroke, etc.\t, • Facility: 379-bed, Short-Term Acute Care Hospital | Level II Trauma CenterSchedule & Additional Details:\t, • Weekend Requirement: 6 shifts per 6 weeks\t, • Floating: Yes\t, • Call: Not required\t, • Orientation: 24 hours\t Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
