We also help keep NYC communities safe and rescue animals in need, responding to emergencies that involve animals as well as keeping our doors open 24/7 for people and animals in need. Summary This position works with and supports the Animal Care Team and is responsible for direct supervision of Animal Care Specialists. MORNING SHIFT RESPONSIBILITIES Morning Crew Members help prepare the restaurant for a successful day by: • Opening kitchen and dining areas, • Preparing fresh ingredients, • Cooking proteins and sides, • Stocking stations, • Receiving deliveries, • Organizing inventory, • Preparing online order stations, • Ensuring the restaurant is ready before opening NIGHT & CLOSING SHIFT RESPONSIBILITIES Closing Crew Members help finish the day strong by: • Serving late-night guests with the same quality and hospitality, • Keeping stations stocked until closing, • Breaking down kitchen equipment, • Cleaning grills, fryers, prep stations, and dining areas, • Properly storing food, • Completing nightly prep, • Washing dishes and utensils, • Completing closing checklists, • Leaving the restaurant clean, organized, and ready for the next day’s team WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE We’re looking for people who are: • Reliable and punctual, • Positive and hardworking, • Team-oriented, • Friendly and guest-focused, • Willing to learn, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, • Passionate about fresh food and hospitality Qualifications: • Restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required., • Strong communication skills., • Ability to stand for long periods., • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds., • Comfortable working around hot equipment., • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays., • Must meet minimum hiring age requirements., • 21+ preferred for certain positions.
