The Full-Time Aquatics Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation and supervision of Commonpoint's Learn-to-Swim and instructional aquatics programs across multiple locations. This leadership position ensures exceptional program quality, outstanding customer service, and consistent instructional standards while supporting staff development and operational excellence. The Aquatics Supervisor serves as the Saturday Swim Class Supervisor for both Central Queens and Bayside and provides operational support throughout the week for the Bayside High School and Queensborough Community College (QCC) aquatics programs. Working closely with the Senior Director of Aquatics and the Director of Aquatics, this position helps strengthen the connection between all Commonpoint aquatics locations by creating a seamless swimmer pathway from Learn-to-Swim through Fast Trac, Pre-Team, and ultimately the Aquaflames Swim Team. The Supervisor will help ensure a high-quality participant experience while respecting and building upon the unique strengths of each location. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, the Aquatics Supervisor will maintain a regular teaching schedule within the Learn-to-Swim program, allowing them to remain actively engaged with swimmers, families, and instructional staff.
