Job Title: Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) Remote Location: Brooklyn, NY 11203 Pay: $40 to $45/hour Shift: Day Shift (7 hours/day) Hours: 35 hours per week Schedule: Monday–Friday (5 Days per Week) Key Responsibilities: • Abstract and manage cancer registry data in compliance with regulatory standards, • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of oncology data, • Apply knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, • Lead development, implementation, and evaluation of the NAPBC program, • Ensure compliance with NAPBC standards and accreditation requirements, • Develop and maintain accreditation documentation (policies, protocols, procedures), • Prepare for accreditation surveys and manage corrective action plans, • Support and participate in accreditation site visits, • Collaborate with physician leadership and multidisciplinary teams, • Attend and contribute to Cancer Committee meetings (CoC & NAPBC), • Compile, analyze, and present reports and performance metrics, • Interpret quality indicators and data to support program goals, • Lead process improvement and value-based care initiatives, • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams through accreditation processes, • Coordinate and facilitate meetings, including scheduling and documentation, • Maintain organized records, reports, and meeting minutes, • Support development of breast care pathways and oncology program strategies, • Ensure strong cross-functional communication and collaboration Qualifications: • Minimum 2 years of experience in tumor registry or related field (required), • Experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred), • Strong knowledge of accreditation processes and NAPBC certification (required), • Prior experience with NAPBC, CoC, or oncology accreditation programs (preferred), • Ability to prepare for surveys and manage corrective action plans, • Strong documentation management and organizational skills, • Ability to interpret performance metrics and quality indicators, • Strong analytical thinking and data interpretation skills, • Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures, • Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively, • Strong cross-functional communication skills, • Experience in strategic planning and program development, • Understanding of breast care pathways Education: • Bachelor’s Degree (required), • Master’s Degree (preferred) Required Certifications: • Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) or Oncology Data Specialist (ODS), • RHIA or RHIT (or eligible) About Pride Health-Pride Health offers eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance, and employee discounts with preferred vendors Equal Employment Opportunity Pride Health is an equal opportunity employer.
