Summary of Position The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and safety in all public spaces of The Maybourne Beverly Hills. Because this role includes servicing men’s spa, locker, and restroom areas, we are seeking a male attendant in accordance with privacy considerations under California law. The ideal candidate exudes professionalism, takes pride in meticulous work, and embodies our commitment to gracious, five star service. Roles and Responsibilities • Thoroughly clean lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms, public lounges, spa and pool decks, back of house hallways, and other assigned areas., • Dust, vacuum, mop, sweep, polish, and disinfect surfaces using approved chemicals and equipment., • Warmly greet guests, anticipate needs, and respond promptly to inquiries or requests., • Maintain a discreet presence while ensuring all areas remain pristine throughout the day., • Refresh towels, amenities, and supplies in the gentlemen’s spa and locker facilities., • Ensure all grooming products, water stations, and relaxation areas are fully stocked and immaculate., • Follow all OSHA, hotel, and brand standards for chemical handling, PPE, and equipment operation., • Immediately report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to supervision., • Monitor stock levels of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies; communicate requisitions in a timely manner., • Support Room Attendants and House Persons during peak periods or special projects., • Attend shift briefings and actively participate in ongoing training programs.Prepare Sales and Occupancy tax return filing and payment withing required deadlines QUALIFICATIONS: • Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience in a luxury hotel, resort, or comparable high‑end environment preferred., • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions safely., • Fluent in English; bilingual ability (e.g., Spanish) a plus., • Strong eye for detail and a genuine passion for hospitality., • Flexible schedule—able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as business requires., • Must present a polished, professional appearance in accordance with The Maybourne grooming standards., • Eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of the job, the Public Area Attendant is required to stand, walk, handle, or feel objects, tools, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk, hear; reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds and sometimes lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
