Job Description Summary: The host/hostess sets the tone of the restaurant because he/she is generally the first person the guest meets. The host/hostess welcomes guests, assigns tables, answers the phone and takes reservations and answers questions during service. Job Duties: • Greets guest entering the restaurant, • Assists with coats, hats umbrella (where applicable) in cold or wet weather or directs guest to appropriate place to store their items, • Accompanies guests to tables carrying drinks on trays when possible handing out menus, • Monitors conditions and flow of service of the dining room for potential bottlenecks or problems adjusting the seating of servers and stations to best serve the experience of the guest, • Communicates all significant matters to supervisor and assist in prompt corrective action, • Performs any helpful chore such as bussing and resetting tables to expedite the seating of our guests, • Answers the phone using proper greeting and phone etiquette always asking for phone # and email as well as asking the guest for any special needs and if they need directions when taking a reservation, • Uses OpenTable correctly to acquire information for database and to record correct numbers for future analysis of the business, • Actively learns the faces and names of our returning guests and acknowledges our guests when they come to the restaurant, • Recommends and provides information of our sister restaurants and other departments and locations in our company, • Takes reservations carefully considering the business already reserved and carefully directs the guest to the times that best suit the flow of the restaurant while accommodating the closest time to the guests request, • Sells gift cards collecting proper payment, • Takes to-go orders, assembles and checks orders for accuracy and collects payment, • Is responsible for the balancing of the cashiers bank maintaining balance of deposit and base bank, • Routinely checks restrooms for cleanliness and stock, • Outgoing, pleasant personality, • Neat and professional appearance, • Effective communication and organizational skills, • 401K with employer match, • Competitive health insurance benefits (medical, dental and vision) available to members averaging only 24 hours per week, • HSA option available, • Supplemental insurance policies through AFLAC available, • Paid vacation, sick time and holidays LZWoEseUFu

Job Description Summary: Bus people are considered service assistants. They support the wait staff and managers in maintaining the dining room in preparation for serving our guests. They may assist the servers with water service, bread service and clearing as long as their first priority of bussing and resetting tables is complete. Job Duties: • Clear dirty tables quietly and unobtrusively, checking floor for linen, dropped utensils and debris, wiping and realigning chairs properly to the table, • Reset with clean, unstained linen (tablecloths where applicable and cloth napkins or roll-ups), placing flatware and glassware appropriately always handling by the stems and handles; and centerpieces in proper positions, • Deliver water to the table when requested by a server and assist server in pouring throughout the guest experience, • Never replace bottled water without server or guests approval, • Communicates immediately to server any bottled water replaced at guests request to ensure that the product appears on the check, • Set-up and bake bread (where applicable), conscious of waste, cooking only what is required for expected number of guests, • Communicates with hostess or manager to reset tables efficiently coordinating with scheduled reservations or waiting guests, • Assist server in removing full and dirty trays from dining room, • Assist servers in pre-bussing between courses, • Assist dishwasher by properly clearing and stacking plates and separating glassware and silverware into assigned racks and bins, • Assists servers and runners in carrying food from the kitchen, • Clean and stock bus-stations before and after shift with linen, glassware, plates and flatware, • Maintain a polished, professional appearance, • Maintain a respectful and cooperative relationship with all other employees, • Outgoing, pleasant personality, and a desire to please guests, • Ability to lift 30 pounds and stand for 8 hours, • 401K with employer match, • Competitive health insurance benefits (medical, dental and vision) available to members averaging only 24 hours per week, • HSA option available, • Supplemental insurance policies through AFLAC available, • Paid vacation, sick time and holidays rNuh3go8og
