Implement, monitor and provide oversight of all aspects related to the delivery of residential substance use disorder services., 2. Conducts regular and direct observations of all clinical treatment activities., 3. Implement and ensure compliance with all clinical policies and procedures and protocols., 4. Ensure compliance with all referent communications, HRA STARS reporting, and HRA finger imaging verification., 5. Provide crisis intervention services., 6. Conduct utilization review, incident management and review and quality assurance reviews., 7. Assure that staff maintains accurate and confidential clinical records that comply with external monitoring agency standards and internal policy and procedures., 8. Prepare all proposals and reports as needed., 9. Assume responsibility for program operations in the absence of the Program Director., 10. Assure all clinical staff members are adequately trained., 11. Provide and implements formal orientation plan to newly hired direct subordinate staff., 12. Conduct regular clinical and administrative meetings with staff., 13. Provide direct supervision for designated staff as per Odyssey House policies. Prepare written annual evaluations on staff under his/her supervision. Review evaluations of all clinical staff members., 14. Provide ongoing training for clinical staff and participate in Odyssey House in-service trainings., 15. Lead clinical quality improvement activities in collaboration with Program Director., 16. Represent Odyssey House at community and public forums., 17. Other relevant duties as assigned by Program Director. REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 1. The Doe Fund is also one of New York City’s largest nonprofit developers of permanent affordable and supportive housing, with more than 1,900 units in operation or pre-development. The Doe Fund has an annual operating budget of $80 million and a full-time staff of nearly 500, a significant portion of whom are graduates of our programs. We are seeking a Part-Time Resident Manager for The Doe Fund's newest permanent supportive housing for homeless individuals living with a serious mental illness and/or history of substance use. The housing program is designed to provide long-term residential care and twenty-four-hour support services in a community environment that maximizes residents' independence while ensuring their physical and emotional security and well-being. This 109-unit residence will provide housing for 39 individuals referred by the NYC Human Resources Administration (HRA), and the remaining 70 units will be apartments for moderate-income households. The Resident Manager is responsible for the supervision of the residents and the overall operation of the residence during designated shifts. S/he will work collaboratively with the Clinical team and the Program Director to ensure that resident needs are being met as well as the safety of the residence. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills along with experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness and/or substance use disorder. The shifts that we are looking to cover are: Saturday – Sunday, 9:00 am to 9:00 pm OR 9:00 pm to 9:00 am. The program provides counseling, crisis intervention, case management services, advocacy, information and referrals and practical assistance to survivors and victims of crime with an overall goal of promoting survivor safety and reducing the impact of victimization. The Coordinator is responsible for providing holistic support services to victims of all crimes. This included counseling and crisis intervention to assess the needs of victims and to help with the development of safety plans to address immediate risks and concerns. This plan may include the provision of in-person or telephone counseling; emergency assistance such as money for transportation; assistance with an Office of Victim Services (OVS) application; providing information and referrals, and follow-up services; and providing assistance with obtaining an order of protection, restitution, and other criminal justice remedies.
