Job Description Position Summary Our client, a non-profit academy is a leading overseas center for independent studies and advanced research in the arts and humanities. POSITION SUMMARY: The Aftercare worker for the QRTP program will be responsible for assessment, engagement and case management services for clients and families towards successful transition out of QRTP placement. This qualified candidate will be a part of a multi-disciplinary team and work alongside the QRTP caseplanner and will refer guardian for supportive services, including medical, clinical and concrete services. Upon the youth’ transition out of the QRTP program, the Aftercare Caseworker will provide the youth and their family with continued casework support up until the youth's placement order expires, to ensure successful reintegration into the community and in the home. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Welcoming and orienting residents and volunteers., • Modeling and coaching independent living skills., • Promoting healthy communication., • Overseeing schedules., • Ensuring safety by conducting hourly rounds and scheduled fire drills., • Submitting timely progress and incident reports and working collaboratively with Community Life and Shared Services teams. This is a full-time position with the following shifts for multiple dorms: Shift #1: Thursday - Monday: 3p - 11:30p Tue./Wed. Off Shift #2:Friday - Tuesday: 3p - 11:30p Wed./Thurs. Off Requirements: • Embrace's the organizations Statement of Faith., • 2-3 years relevant experience, with demonstrated strong relational skills., • High School diploma, GED or higher., • Strong conflict resolution skills., • Strong verbal and written communications skills., • Highly relational with strong interpersonal skills., • Computer & email proficiency. Preferred: • Certified in Mental Health First Aid., • Certified in Non-violent Crisis Intervention., • Motivational Interviewing., • Trauma-informed Care., • Certified in First Aid/CPR, F-80 Fire Safety., • Prefer associate degree in relevant area., • Naloxone Training.
