Key Responsibilities To be successful in this role, you must be ready, willing, and able to: • Function within the policies and procedures outlined in the Program Practice Guide and Employee Manual., • Provide overall management of your assigned site., • Complete reports, case documentation, and psychosocial assessments., • Liaise with DSS, schools, and collateral contacts., • Deliver crisis intervention and counseling when needed., • Supervise, coach, and provide staff with the knowledge and tools to succeed., • Develop discharge plans and provide 6 months of aftercare services., • Conduct home visits as necessary., • 50% General casework, documentation, and reports, • 20% Supporting youth, • 20% Supporting staff, • LMSW required; LCSW preferred, • 2 years' post-master's experience with child-serving systems (child welfare, juvenile justice, etc.), • Strong computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, and reporting portals), • Valid NYS driver's license in good standing, • Access to a reliable vehicle, • Ability to provide 24/7 on-call availability during the week; participate in weekend on-call rotation Physical Requirements • Operate a motor vehicle carrying up to 10 children/youth, • Lift/move up to 50 lbs., • Escort children/youth into the community (including stairs if necessary), • Restrain a child/youth during a crisis, when required, • Regular walking/standing, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, and repetitive wrist/finger movements, • Ability to read/write reports and log entries This opportunity is being offered as Full Time 35/hr. workweek Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
