We specialize in high-end stone products, such as fully integral vanities, stone counters, walls, etc. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various saws and related machinery within a manufacturing facility. This role is essential for ensuring precision cutting and quality control of materials, contributing to the overall efficiency of our production process. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Experience with stone is required. Duties • Operate and maintain saws, including CNC saws, to cut materials according to specifications., • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting requirements., • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy in cuts., • Perform quality control checks on finished products to meet industry standards., • Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient workflow and materials handling., • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times., • Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed. Qualifications • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with factory experience preferred., • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles., • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is desirable., • Proficiency in CAD software, SolidWorks, or similar design tools is advantageous., • Understanding of machining processes, fabrication techniques, and tooling applications., • Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks., • Ability to work effectively in an assembly line setting while maintaining quality control standards.
