Job Description As a national thought leader in deeper learning, Harlem Village Academies is distinguished as the only charter school network in New York offering Montessori PreK and culminating in the International Baccalaureate. HVA is a community of PK-12 schools, a college support program, and a graduate school, the Deeper Learning Institute, where teachers earn a master's and certification. The Opportunity The Enrollment Operations Manager at Harlem Village Academies will assist with ensuring full enrollment of all campuses through their operations support. This is a great opportunity for an adept operator who can build strong connections within our community and is excited about giving students access to a free world-class education. You'll be responsible for activities that produce applicants and support families with registration. Responsibilities • Oversee the family-facing enrollment cycle from initial inquiry through registration, including application processing, student record management, and communication with families, • Provide outstanding support to prospective families, addressing inquiries and guiding them through the enrollment process, • Plan and facilitate school tours, information sessions, and events to provide prospective families with a look inside the amazing HVA campuses, as well as manage new student assessment sessions, • Train and support staff involved in enrollment processes, ensuring they have the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively assist families, • Connect with prospects and leads to ensure they effectively convert to applicants, • Collaborate with operations teams to assist new families with completing registration requirements after the spring lottery, work across teams to coordinate other enrollment activities and ensure seamless communication, • Perform other duties as needed to support broader enrollment team initiatives, including updating data and maintaining systems Qualifications, • Bachelor's Degree, • 3 years of proven experience in operations or a similar role, preferably in an educational or enrollment setting, • Bilingual in English and Spanish required, • A professional demeanor that conveys warmth, caring, and responsiveness to children, parents, and staff at all times, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer service mindset, • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, • Team player with a willingness to be hands-on and do whatever it takes to support the success of Harlem Village Academies, • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google Suite, and willingness to learn additional programs Harlem Village Academies is an Equal Opportunity Employer and committed to diversity among our staff.
