POSITION OVERVIEW BBR Partners is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our Client Intelligence team. This role will design and build scalable data infrastructure that powers client reporting and analytics for our Advisory business. You'll work at the intersection of data engineering and business requirements, building pipelines, APIs, and automation that deliver sophisticated client insights at scale. Reporting to our Head of Client Intelligence, you'll collaborate closely with our Data Engineering and Software Development teams to leverage shared platform capabilities while owning the technical solutions specific to client deliverables. This is a high-impact role with direct visibility into the ways we serve our clients. RESPONSIBILITIES Analytics Engineering • Design and build data pipelines using Airflow and dbt to automate client reporting processes, • Develop API wrappers and services for client-specific data access and configuration management, • Build and maintain derived datasets, metrics, and aggregations for client portfolio analytics, • Collaborate with our core Data team to consume canonical APIs and datasets from various Cloud platforms, • Implement data quality checks and validation frameworks for client-facing deliverables, • Partner with our Software Development team to build highly tailored applications to drive analytics, • Translate Advisory team requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions, • Design allocation and mapping frameworks that allow for top-level and drill-down analysis across custom domains., • Develop client-facing metrics and analytics using Python and Jupyter notebooks, • Support ad-hoc analysis requests from Advisory team when needed, • Integrate with third-party SaaS platforms (including Seismic) to deliver client materials, • Establish patterns and best practices for maintainable, scalable client reporting solutions Technical Skills • 3-5+ years of experience building production data pipelines and automation, • Strong proficiency in Python for data engineering and analysis, • Experience with modern orchestration frameworks (Airflow strongly preferred), • Advanced SQL skills and experience with data transformation tools (dbt strongly preferred), • Familiarity consuming data via API (REST) endpoints, • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred), • Experience integrating with or configuring enterprise SaaS platforms, • Background in financial services, wealth management, or client-facing analytics, • Experience with BI/visualization platforms (Power-BI, Tableau), • Opportunity to collaborate with accomplished colleagues in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment., • Competitive base salary and incentive compensation., • Company subsidized health, dental and vision insurance for employee, partner, and dependents., • 401K plan, Life insurance, and short & long-term disability coverage., • One Medical membership (covered for employee and dependents), Employee assistance program (EAP), Gym reimbursement and other wellness offerings., • Pre-tax transit and parking programs, Health Savings Account (HSA) and flexible spending programs for medical and dependent care., • Personalized development and career opportunities., • Flexible time off, paid parental leave, and opportunity for Sabbatical with company tenure., • Hybrid remote work environment, "Work from Anywhere" weeks, and casual dress.
