What you'll do As our Manager, Revenue Accounting, you will oversee a revenue accounting team responsible for Angi's domestic revenue recognition accounting, including compliance with US GAAP and SOX requirements. You will drive continuous improvements, leverage AI tools to enhance team efficiency, and deliver strategic financial insights to help shape the company's long-term success. Revenue Recognition & Reporting • Lead monthly reviews of revenue and deferred revenue accounting to ensure completeness and accuracy, including approval of journal entries and account reconciliations, • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of revenue accountants, providing guidance and ensuring consistent high performance, • Develop, implement, and maintain all corporate revenue accounting policies, • Manage controls documentation and process flowcharts for the end-to-end revenue cycle, ensuring alignment with SOX requirements, • Collaborate with the Product team to evaluate new and evolving service offerings and assess their revenue recognition implications, • Partner with Analytics and Finance teams to troubleshoot issues, test system enhancements, and implement improvements that increase automation and reporting accuracy, • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field. CPA preferred, • 5+ years of revenue accounting experience ideally within a publicly traded tech company, with at least 2 years of management experience.
