The Nurse/PA role requires patient care and education regarding IV Vitamin therapy as well as medical weight loss, hormone replacement therapy, as well as administering treatments to patients Responsibilities • Administer IV Vitamin Therapy, and shots to patients., • Performed venipuncture, accessed implanted ports, maintained peripheral IV lines, • Perform infusions and monitor patient's status throughout the entire infusion as well as manage emergency reactions., • Perform blood draws as per the required instructions provided by the lab., • Follow state and nursing guidelines and standards, • Maintain a safe and sanitary environment by applying principles of medical asepsis and infection control techniques and universal precautions, • Liaise with admin and other medical team members pre and post-therapy and participate in shared decision making, • Accurately use the online booking systems, • Assist with callbacks to patients with questions., • Provided documentation to the Admin team for submission to EHR, • Prepare and track inventory to maintain 100% in stock of supplies and Vitamin therapy., • Maintains up-to-date Nurse education including knowledge of the internet for IV Infusion, • Completes other tasks within the scope of the nurse practitioner/physician assistant. Qualifications • BA of science in nursing, an associate degree in nursing, or have graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program. Previous experience in IV Infusion is desirable. Certified in BLS and ACLS., • Critical thinking, compassionate, non-judgmental, with attention to detail, and organized. Calm under pressure and ability to work unsupervised., • Needs to be a patient listener, a good communicator, and demonstrate the ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sources, • Client confidentiality and discretion are essential.
