Position Summary As a member of the Philanthropy Unit for Foundations, Governments & Major Gifts, the Senior Officer, Major Gifts & Planned Giving will be responsible for designing and implementing a strategy for achieving annual revenue targets and planned giving opportunities for Fs Feministas major gifts portfolio, while also coordinating the day-to-day operations of the program The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of approximately 100 major and planned giving donors and prospects, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding these donors to increase the flexible funding raised by Fs Feminista year-over-year With support from the Senior Philanthropy Advisor, the Senior Officer will play a critical role in building meaningful relationships with Fs Feministas top supporters with the potential to make five- and six-figure major, blended or planned gifts to advance our mission. Supervisory Relationship: The Senior Officer, Major Gifts & Planned Giving reports to the Senior Philanthropy Advisor. Key Responsibilities Design and implement a major gifts strategy to meet annual revenue targets, increasing giving each year from individual donors with the capacity to make annual gifts of $10,000 or more. Strengthen engagement and build relationships with major donors and prospects through ongoing communication and virtual or face-to-face meetings. Organize special events for donors and prospects in key geographic hubs in the United States as well as donor trips to visit Fs Feminista partner organizations in the Global South, fostering authentic connection to the work of our partners and the women, girls, and gender-diverse people they reach. Make direct solicitations to major donors for annual, blended or planned gifts and support Fs Feministas senior leadership and board members to do so effectively. Establish KPIs for the major donor program and review the status of the portfolio regularly to track progress and adjust individual and group strategies accordingly. Execute and/or supervise the writing, design, and production of compelling major donor appeals and cultivation materials, in collaboration with an external fundraising agency, and the development of impact reports for select donors. Collaborate with colleagues across the individual giving team in closing gifts from donor advised funds, IRA charitable distributions and stocks as well as planned giving bequests and beneficiary designations. Work closely with the individual giving team to identify, research and qualify major and planned giving donor prospects and moves management strategies to cultivate higher giving. Collaborate with the Philanthropy Lead and Senior Philanthropy Advisor to implement a planned giving outreach strategy for the major donor portfolio, with proactive cultivation of strong planned giving prospects. Develop and sustain collaborative working relationships with programs and advocacy staff to gather stories of impact and devise new fundraising strategies to meet the needs of Fs Feministas local partners. Execute and/or supervise research on prospects and current donors and the preparation of donor profiles and briefing memos. Manage the acknowledgement process for major gifts. Execute and/or coordinate the creation of mailing lists in Salesforce, as well as reports to support portfolio analysis. Ensure the timely entry of all major donor communication into Salesforce (including phone calls, emails, meeting reports, etc.), ensuring the integrity of the database by maintaining up-to-date and accurate donor information. This individual plays a pivotal role in driving ticket sales, securing partnerships, and positioning One Times Square as a premier visitor attraction and event venue. The VP of Sales reports directly to the Executive Vice President for One Times Square and collaborate with marketing, operations, and finance teams to optimize revenue opportunities. BroSis provides holistic and long-term support services to youth between the ages of eight and twenty-two. BroSis offers wrap-around evidence-based programming such as four-six year rites of passage programming, thorough five-day-a-week after-school care, school and home counseling, summer camps, job training, college preparation, employment opportunities, community organizing training, and month-long international study programs to Africa and Latin America. POSITION SUMMARY: The Brotherhood Sister Sol (BroSis) is seeking a visionary, experienced leader to serve as our Director of Arts and Organizing. This senior role will lead two of our signature youth programsThe Liberation Program (LP) and After School Teen Enrichment Program (ASTEP)at the intersection of arts, culture, political education, and social justice. The Director - Arts and Organizing is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development, and day-to-day management of BroSiss Liberation Program and ASTEP. This senior leadership position works collaboratively with the Associate Executive Director of Programming, the Director of Programming and the Director of College, Careers and Wellness to manage all elements of youth programming at BroSis. This role involves program design, staff supervision, partnership cultivation, budget oversight, programmatic leadership and alignment with our mission and organizational goals. The Director will ensure both the LP and ASTEP programs reflect BroSiss holistic, justice-centered approach to youth development. These programs empower young people through artistic expression, social justice organizing, and enrichment opportunities. Moreover, as a seasoned organizer, they coach LP staff to facilitate, catalyze, and advance internal campaigns and activism projects while representing BroSis in longstanding coalitions and partnerships. Working closely with and alongside both our larger organizing team, they will engage and develop youth and community to achieve the overall success of the program. Staff are entitled to four weeks' vacation; as well as quarterly personal days; and office closure during Winter Break that is approximately 8 vacation days in addition to Christmas and New Year's Day as well as 9 additional paid holidays and 8 sick days; equating to about 10 weeks of PTO per annum.
