Responsibilities: • Handle a caseload of civil defense litigation matters from inception to resolution, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents., • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and arguments., • Prepare for and conduct depositions, interrogatories, and other discovery proceedings., • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide support during trials and hearings., • Assist with the preparation of trial exhibits, witness interviews, and trial briefs., • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files, including organizing and managing documents and evidence., • Attend court hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings as required., • Stay current with changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents that may impact ongoing cases., • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school., • Admission to the State Bar and in good standing., • Minimum of 1 year of experience in civil defense litigation, • Strong knowledge of civil procedure, legal research, and writing., • Proven experience conducting depositions and handling discovery processes., • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills., • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities., • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
