Job DescriptionJob Title: Boiler OperatorPosition Overview We are seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our boiler systems, wastewater treatment processes, and utility equipment in a food manufacturing environment. This role is essential to maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting continuous production, and upholding the highest standards of environmental and food safety. Work Schedule • Off‑Season (October–July): Monday–Thursday, 6 AM–4 PM, • Peak Season (July–October): Monday–Friday, 6 AM until completion (may include 12‑hour shifts based on production needs)Key Responsibilities, • Operate, monitor, and maintain boiler and compressed air systems to support safe, efficient plant operations, • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs, • Conduct boiler chemical treatments and maintain accurate logs and documentation, • Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems; perform daily testing, record results, and adjust systems as needed, • Ensure all wastewater and utility equipment meets permit, testing, and performance requirements, • Follow all safety, environmental, and food safety protocols, including PPE, Lockout/Tagout, and sanitation standards, • Identify, report, and correct unsafe conditions to support the production of safe, high‑quality food products, • Perform additional duties as assignedRequired Qualifications, • Certified Stationary Engineer in NJ — (B) Red Seal required, • Ability to obtain Wastewater Operator License N1 (or N2 at a later date), • High school diploma or GED, • 2–3 years of experience in industrial or food manufacturing operations, • Working knowledge of boiler and wastewater treatment systems, • Strong troubleshooting and boiler repair skills, • Preventive maintenance experience, • Weekly pay for consistent, predictable income, • Paid holidays, sick time, and vacation, • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • FSA/HSA options, • Short‑ and long‑term disability coverage, • Tuition reimbursement opportunities, • Company‑paid life insurance, • Additional voluntary benefits (life insurance, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, critical illness coverage) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Williamstown, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
