Job DescriptionHR Specialist (Full-Time) Location: Waldwick, NJ (Hybrid) Schedule: Full Time Compensation: up to $85,000 In-Office Expectation: Tuesday & Wednesday Reports To: People & Culture and Finance Director (Payroll & Benefits) About Kallman Worldwide, Inc. As we continue to grow, we are investing in dedicated HR and operational support to ensure our people systems, payroll, benefits, and HR operations run smoothly and consistently. This role is essential in maintaining a strong foundation so our teams can remain focused on client service and talent development. Key Responsibilities Hiring & Onboarding Execution • Post job openings or coordinate with external recruiting partners, • Schedule interviews (Teams and in-person), • Provide hiring teams with updated, role-appropriate interview questions and materials, • Review and screen candidates, • Maintain interview templates and documentation to ensure consistency, • Prepare offer letters using approved formats and compensation ranges, • Conduct reference checks, • Manage onboarding documentation and new-hire setup, • Provide in-office onboarding support as neededHR Operations & Compliance, • Maintain employee records, including I-9s and required documentation, • Administer time-off tracking and resolve discrepancies, • Support compliance reporting and internal/external audits, • Maintain HR policies and ensure documents remain current, • Administer HRIS systems (including isolved):, • User access, • Data accuracy, • Basic troubleshootingManager & Employee Support, • Serve as primary point of contact for HR, payroll, and benefits inquiries, • Track and follow up on required HR documentation, • Support managers with HR operational processes and timelines, • Partner with the People & Culture Director on training needsPayroll Administration, • Process biweekly payroll accurately and on schedule, • Administer payroll deductions (taxes, benefits, HSA/FSA, 401k, etc.), • Manage payroll corrections, adjustments, and off-cycle payments, • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, • Address employee payroll questionsBenefits Administration, • Administer employee benefit programs (health, dental, vision, HSA/FSA, 401k), • Manage enrollments, changes, terminations, and compliance reporting, • Coordinate open enrollment activities and communications, • Serve as liaison with benefits brokers and providers, • Respond to employee inquiries related to benefits and coverageQualifications, • 3-7 years of experience in HR operations, payroll, or people operations, • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through, • Results-oriented; able to execute processes consistently and reliably, • Comfortable navigating sensitive or difficult conversations, • Experience with HRIS systems (isolved experience a plus), • Hands-on payroll processing and benefits administration experience, • Working knowledge of payroll and employment law, • High level of discretion with confidential informationBenefits:, • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • 401(k) plan with employer match, • Paid holidays, • Paid vacation, • Paid sick leave, • Life and disability insurance, • Annual discretionary bonus Pay Details: $65,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year Search managed by: Ellen Slovikowsky Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: • The California Fair Chance Act, • Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance, • Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, • San Francisco Fair Chance OrdinanceMassachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
