Job Description Opportunity Stanislaus is assisting Oak Valley Community Bank in recruiting a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. Location: California — travel required to nineteen branch locations, including remote Eastern Sierra areas. The Facilities Maintenance Specialist coordinates maintenance activities across our network. This role supports the execution of the bank’s facilities maintenance program by overseeing vendor work, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining operational readiness. The individual has strong organizational skills, technical understanding of building systems, and the ability to travel to any of our nineteen branches, including remote Eastern Sierra locations. Essential Duties • Coordinate and monitor routine and preventive maintenance activities across all branch locations., • Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party service providers and contractors., • May perform some hands-on maintenance services., • Ensure maintenance tasks are completed according to established schedules, standards, and compliance requirements., • Conduct site visits to verify work quality, safety compliance, and facility conditions., • Maintain documentation of inspections, service requests, work orders, and vendor performance., • Support the implementation of facility upgrades and minor renovation projects under the direction of the Facilities Manager., • Assist in ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, building codes, and environmental standards., • Communicate facility needs and issues to the Chief Financial Officer and recommend operational adjustments when necessary., • Treats people with respect; keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others; works ethically and with integrity; upholds organizational values; and accepts responsibility for own actions., • Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policy; shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; educates others on the value of diversity; promotes working environment free of harassment of any type; and builds a diverse workforce and supports affirmative action., • Assures compliance with all Bank policies, procedures and processes, and all applicable state and federal banking laws, rules, and regulations, and adheres to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) responsibilities that are specific to the position., • Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports the Bank’s goals and values; and benefits the Bank through outside activities., • Performs the position safely, without endangering health or safety to themselves or others and will be expected to report potentially unsafe conditions. Secondary Duties • Assist with coordination for office moves, branch openings, and closures., • Support emergency response and disaster recovery efforts related to facilities., • Track and report on maintenance-related expenditures and budget adherence., • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and escalate recommendations., • Provide regular updates to management on facility status and vendor performance. Supervisory Responsibility The position of Facilities Maintenance Specialist is not responsible for the supervision of employees(s). Environment and Physical Activity The employee is in a non-confined office type setting in which he or she is free to move about at will. The position includes driving a Bank vehicle approximately 100 percent of the time during work hours which includes exposure to the outside weather elements and moving mechanical parts. It may include some minor annoyances such as noise, odors, drafts, etc. The employee in the course of performing this position spends time writing, typing, speaking, listening, lifting (up to 50 pounds), driving, carrying, seeing (such as close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and adjusted focus), sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching. Minimum Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or coursework in building maintenance or facilities management preferred., • 3+ years of experience in facilities coordination, building maintenance, or related field., • Basic handyperson repair skills and general maintenance experience preferred., • Familiarity with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and building systems., • Experience working with contractors and service providers., • Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation., • Ability to travel frequently to branch locations, including remote areas., • Strong organizational and communication skills., • Basic proficiency with maintenance tracking systems or software tools., • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures., • Proficiency in using maintenance tools and diagnostic equipment., • Familiarity with building automation systems and fire/security protocols., • Strong organizational and project management skills., • Basic skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; host computer system; word processing, spreadsheet, and specialty software programs., • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, write reports, correspondence, and procedures, speak clearly to customers and employees., • Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations., • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision while performing duties.
