Job Description Summary: Field Service Technician will be assigned a truck and travel daily to customer job sites to repair and maintain equipment. This role requires experienced, responsible technicians who can diagnose and repair equipment working independently. The technician will troubleshoot/diagnose equipment problem and perform repair work on a wide variety of equipment. • Repair types can include: complete machine overhauls, minor repairs such as fixing leaks, changing fluids and filters, rebuild components such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic pumps., • Diagnostics can include: check pressures, check voltage, locate source of noise or vibration. Required Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent with a two year Technical degree or comparable military training;, • Minimum of 5 years work experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance;, • Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of equipment operations, mechanical functions, electrical and hydraulic systems;, • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with other technicians or independently, while out in the field;, • Proficiency with computers and diagnostic programs provided by manufacturers., • Ownership of adequate hand tools., • Must have valid Driver’s License, CDL is preferred. Qualifications:- The ideal candidate for this position will possess experience with integrating and upgrading desktops and laptops from the Windows 7 operating system to Windows 10 operating system, upgrading Microsoft and 3rd party applications, and have experience with litigating software such as Ipro and Concordance. - The ability to work independently with only minor guidance is a must.
