Work Shifts 8:00 A.M – 4:00 P.M Duties & Responsibilities Purpose of Position: Under supervision, operates motor vehicles and equipment such as passenger cars, ambulances, hearses, trucks, wreckers, forklifts, tractor-trailer trucks and sign-erecting trucks used by City departments. In the Police Department, may operate a vehicle which transports inmates to and from detention facilities, police stations and court locations. Minimum Qualifications 1. Possession a motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York which must be maintained for the duration of employment. SPECIAL NOTES: 1. For appointment to certain positions, candidates must possess either a Class A, B, or C Commercial Driver License valid in the State of New York with passenger endorsement and no restrictions on the number of passengers, or with no airbrake restriction., 2. We are seeking a passionate and energetic Group Leader/Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood After School Learn and Play team. In this role, you will support the development and implementation of engaging, age-appropriate activities that foster growth in social skills, physical development and self confidence . Responsibilities • Assist in planning and executing daily age appropriate lesson plans for gym sports, literacy and arts/crafts, • Support classroom management by maintaining a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and respectful behavior., • Engage children in activities that promote fitness, self confidence, friendship and social-emotional learning tailored to their developmental stages., • Work closely with the Director and Assistant Director to monitor individual progress, especially for children with special needs., • Foster effective communication with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's growth., • Support classroom organization and cleanliness to create a safe and welcoming environment for all children., • Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred., • Knowledge of early childhood development principles, including literacy education, math concepts, and behavior management techniques., • Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with autism or other disabilities is a plus., • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and engage with parents., • Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored for toddlers or preschool-aged children., • Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory., • Demonstrated ability to manage classroom environments confidently while fostering a nurturing atmosphere. Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Adult Outpatient Facility Location: Bronx, NY Setting: State-of-the-Art Outpatient Rehabilitation Facility Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Position Overview We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary outpatient rehabilitation team in a modern, state-of-the-art facility serving the adult population. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders, collaborating closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and medical providers. Key Responsibilities  Perform comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in adult patients  Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices  Provide therapy for conditions including, but not limited to: o Aphasia o Dysarthria o Apraxia o Cognitive impairments (memory, attention, executive function) o Dysphagia (including post-stroke, neurological, and post-surgical conditions)  Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements  Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care  Educate patients and caregivers on treatment strategies, home programs, and safety precautions  Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development  Maintain compliance with New York State Department of Health and all applicable regulatory standards Qualifications  Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program  Current New York State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist  Experience with adult populations in outpatient, hospital, or rehabilitation settings preferred  Spanish language knowledge preferred
