Job Description Employment Type: Direct Hire | Part-Time (0.8 FTE, 32 Hours/Week) Compensation: $92,000 - $147,004 DOE + Comprehensive Benefits Lead a New Era in Occupational and Environmental Medicine This is more than a Nurse Practitioner job-it's a leadership opportunity. We are seeking an experienced, autonomous, and visionary Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to launch and manage a new Occupational and Environmental Medicine clinic based in Albany, NY, with regular visits to Syracuse. You will drive clinical care, guide strategic growth, and engage deeply with the community, all while enjoying a flexible, hybrid schedule and competitive compensation. Role Highlights: • Schedule: 4-day workweek (Monday-Thursday), • Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, • Work Model: 2 days in-clinic, 2 days telehealth, • Travel: Monthly travel to Syracuse (2-3 times/month), • Start Date: ASAP (training prior to credentialing), • No call, weekends, holidays, drug screens, or narcotics, • EMR System: Epic Key Responsibilities 1. Clinical Care (Direct & Indirect): • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for occupational health concerns, • Provide direct patient care in both Albany and Syracuse locations, • Collaborate closely with the Medical Director, industrial hygienists, and case managers 2. Clinic Development & Operations: • Design and implement policies, procedures, and operational workflows, • Recruit, mentor, and supervise clinical and administrative staff, • Oversee clinic operations including budgeting, resource allocation, and quality assurance 3. Community Engagement & Stakeholder Relations: • Serve as liaison to advisory board and lead community integration initiatives, • Build and manage partnerships with local employers, • Develop and deliver educational outreach programs for workforce wellness 4. Data Analysis & Strategic Outreach: • Analyze and report clinic performance metrics, • Design and execute targeted outreach to boost clinic visibility and referral volume 5. Research and Regulatory Compliance: • Critically appraise research to guide evidence-based care, • Ensure full compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, • Serve as a regulatory resource for staff and stakeholders 6. Quality Improvement & Protocol Design: • Lead continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives, • Develop clinical algorithms and protocols to enhance care delivery, • Monitor performance and implement enhancements based on outcomes Qualifications Required: • Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license (Family or Adult), • National board certification (AANP or ANCC), • NPI number and Medicare enrollment (or eligibility within 6 months), • Master's Degree in Nursing, • BLS Certification (AHA or ARC), • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, • Occupational Health experience, • Experience in healthcare program development or administration
