Job Description Summary Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC) currently has a full time position available for a bi-lingual (Spanish/English) receptionists who can effectively and efficiently oversee the front desk area, meet and greet all visitors and direct them to the proper department. Duties Children’s Learning Centers of Fairfield County (CLC) currently has a full time position available for a bi-lingual (Spanish/English) receptionists who can effectively and efficiently oversee the front desk area, meet and greet all visitors and direct them to the proper department. Principal Functional Responsibilities: • Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location, • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (verify ID, monitor logbook, issue visitor badges), • Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff; takes messages and schedules appointments., • First point of contact for families requesting registration appointments (distributes intake packets, explains procedure, schedules appointments), • Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items., • Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, postage meter and a computer, • Performs general clerical support tasks including data entry and filing, • Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock, • Assist with tuition collection as needed, • Handle cash box collection, • Distribute payroll checks to all location every two weeks, • Open and close the building when necessary Nutrition Responsibilities: • Print monthly menu and distribute to classrooms, • Facilitate classroom consumable orders from Food Service Company, • Order consumable/cleaning supplies and keep inventory of stock, • Assist Kitchen Monitor with daily tasks as needed (prepare bleach/water solution, check refrigerator temperatures, milk check) Requirements • Bilingual (Spanish/English) - Required, • Must be warm and pleasant to co-workers and all guests upon entering the building., • High School Diploma or equivalent, • Proficiency in various computer programs: Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational skills, bilingual (Spanish)., • Must love children., • Must be able to occasionally move between locations in Stamford., • Background check and Drug Screening Nice To Haves • Positive outgoing team player, • Polite and friendly demeanor, • Ability to multi-task, • Must love children, • Must be able to occasionally move between locations in Stamford.
