Company Description Lime Rock Springs Co., operating as Pepsi-Cola of Dubuque, is a fourth-generation, family-owned beverage distributor based in Dubuque, Iowa. Overview We seek a dependable, hands-on HR Generalist to support the day-to-day human resources function for our family-owned business. This role supports approximately 70 employees, with some support provided to our sister company, Verena Street Coffee with additional 20 employees. This is a broad HR role for someone who enjoys working closely with employees and managers in a small business environment. The position includes a mix of employee support, recruiting, onboarding, payroll administration, benefits administration, compliance, documentation, and policy support. A key part of the role is helping foster a positive workplace culture that supports employee engagement, retention, accountability, and morale. Key Responsibilities • Serve as a primary point of contact for HR questions, • Coordinate recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding, • Administer payroll and maintain accurate employee records, • Administer employee benefits and assist with enrollments and employee questions, • Support performance management, coaching documentation, and policy administration, • Maintain HR files, compliance documentation, and required reporting, • Help ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and internal procedures, • Coordinate DOT compliance, drug testing administration, and related recordkeeping, • Support employee communication, engagement, and retention efforts, • 3+ years of HR experience preferred, • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field preferred, • Experience in a small or mid-sized business environment preferred, • Experience with payroll, benefits administration, and employee documentation preferred, • Working knowledge of employment-related laws and HR best practices, • DOT and drug testing administration experience is a plus, • Strong verbal and written communication skills, • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, • Full-time, on-site position, • Monday through Friday, day shift, • No nights or weekends, • Salary: $60,000 to $72,000, depending on experience and fit, • Competitive PTO and paid holidays, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • Short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance, • 401(k) with company match, • Employee discount
