Job Description Journeyman Pattern Maker This position is located in New Liberty, Iowa, just outside of Walcott. We are a short commute from the Quad Cities! Our family-owned and operated company produces casting tooling for the aerospace, aircraft, agricultural, and automotive industries, with an increasing emphasis on aerospace and aircraft. The pay range for this position is $20.00-$40.00 per hour based on experience. Since some materials are not easy to shape or handle manually or with conventional equipment, your job is critical! CNC Programmers/Operators are highly skilled professionals, able to work with great concentration and precision. They must be responsible and comply with all safety guidelines. A keen eye for detail and great mechanical aptitude is essential. The goal is to produce high quality parts by programming machines to perform the correct operations. CNC Programmer Responsibilities: • Input the product design into the computer modeling software., • Choose and load the correct cutting tools for the job., • Adjust machine settings to the desired product specifications., • Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process., • Complete quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product., • High school diploma or GED., • Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs to cut various materials., • Handle multiple and frequently changing priorities., • Strong attention to detail., • Work independently and stick to deadlines., • Stand for extended periods., • Read and interpret technical blueprints and design models., • Train new staff in machine operation procedures., • Mastercam experience., • Tool and Die experience, • Work overtime when required. #hc121858
