Job DescriptionDescription: PAX Health is a leading mental and behavioral health organization dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals facing mental health challenges. We are seeking an LCSW Clinical Supervisor to join our growing team. Responsible for providing direct services to patients and their families, including individual, group, and family therapy while also providing Clinical Supervision to assigned Therapists. In collaboration with treatment team staff, the Therapist/Clinical Supervisor ensures quality of care provided to patients in an outpatient treatment setting, according to patient needs and level of care. Responsibilities: • Receive, review and promptly respond to intake referrals upon assignment of the case., • Conduct Bio/Psych/Social assessments, diagnostic impression, and formulate treatment plans under the guidance of the Clinical Director., • Meet for individual sessions with patients at a frequency determined by the ongoing assessment of progress in treatment., • Complete and assist clients in aftercare and discharge planning, • Provide direct clinical services, including individual, group, family and/or couples therapy to clients and their families, • Provide case management services as needed, including referrals to outside resources when necessary, • Ensures cohesion of all services documented within the clinical chart (including but not limited to services provided by case management, medical providers and the laboratory), and assists with compliance of various standards., • Maintain accurate, thoroughly documented client records with a quality of documentation that meets all applicable standards in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)., • Utilize EHR to input all clinical documentation, • Conduct Individual and Group Supervision in accordance with the regulations of the state in which the supervision is being rendered., • Complete and keep on file all paperwork associated with the regulations for each type of supervision provided., • Prepare the Proposed Plan of Supervision for each supervisee and assist the supervisee in submitting this to the state in which the Clinical Supervision is being rendered., • Sign-off on documentation of therapists as needed., • Attend and participate in treatment team meetings as scheduled to ensure quality of care for clients, • Attend staff development and general staff meetings, • Attend staff and clinical trainings, • Communicate with Medical Director and other prescribers to ensure quality clinical services are provided to the client on a timely and as needed basis, • Participate in and attend supervision/consultation with Clinical Director., • Collaborate with members of the multi-disciplinary treatment team to ensure effective delivery of a full spectrum of clinical services, • Comply with local, state and federal confidentiality laws and regulations, • Collaborate with professionals both within and outside the agency, as appropriate, • Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences, • Abide by PAX Health code of ethics and model values, • Other duties as needed within the scope of the role. Requirements:, • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field required, • Active, unrestricted clinical license required (e.g., LCSW) in the state of practice, • Minimum of 3–5 years of post-licensure clinical experience in an outpatient or similar setting, • Supervisory credential if required by the state in which the supervision is being rendered., • Prior experience providing clinical supervision to provisionally licensed clinicians required, • This role requires the Clinical Supervisor to maintain a caseload of 15–20 clients while also providing supervision and support to assigned clinicians., • Strong diagnostic and assessment skills, with experience developing and implementing treatment plans, • Experience providing individual, group, family, and/or couples therapy across diverse populations, • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and high standards of clinical documentation, • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to supervision, documentation, and compliance, • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and communicate with medical providers, • Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, and team development skills, • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a caseload while overseeing supervisees, • Commitment to culturally responsive, patient-centered care, • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace PAX Health is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
