New Grad Physical Therapist — Outpatient Ortho & Sports (Mentorship Track) Precision Care Medical & Sports Performance is hiring a new graduate physical therapist for our Shell Road clinic in Brooklyn. Full-time, Monday–Friday, no weekends. Real mentorship — not a sink-or-swim first job. $90K–$100K depending on rotations and certifications, plus $5,250/year tax-free toward your student loans, $1,500/year CEU stipend, and NY license reimbursement. The short version This is a real first job, not a first-job-shaped pile of caseload. We built our new grad track around what we wish we'd had in our first year — time to build clinical reasoning with a senior clinician next to you, direct access to physicians for complex cases, and a gradual caseload ramp-up so you're not drowning in week one. Five days, no weekends, genuine schedule flexibility, and comp that respects your DPT. Mentorship, not sink-or-swim Your first job should build your clinical confidence, not break it. You'll start by shadowing and co-treating alongside senior clinicians — observing evaluations, assisting with treatments, and learning our documentation workflow before you carry your own caseload. As you get comfortable, your caseload grows at your own pace, with a dedicated mentor available for check-ins on tough cases. By the time you're running independently, you've built real clinical reasoning — and our senior clinicians and on-site pain management physicians are always a few steps away for a consult. Beyond the ramp-up, development is ongoing: case reviews, CEU support for courses that advance your practice, clinical in-services, and honest conversations about where you want your career to go. What you'll do • Evaluate and treat a diverse caseload across orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehab, sports-related conditions, and chronic pain referrals, • Deliver hands-on manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and progressive sport-specific programming, with PT technicians running warm-ups and exercise circuits under your direction, • Build individualized treatment plans with input from your mentor and from our on-site interventional pain management physicians, • Document evaluations, daily notes, and progress reports in our EMR (we'll train you on our templates — you're not figuring it out alone), • Educate patients on exercise progression, injury prevention, and long-term self-management What we offer • Compensation: $90,000–$100,000 base, depending on clinical rotations, certifications, and readiness., • Schedule: Monday–Friday. No weekends. No holidays., • Schedule flexibility: Need to come in late for an appointment? Leave early for a family commitment? We work with our PTs, not against them — this is a practice, not a punch clock., • Mentorship: A dedicated senior clinician as your mentor, structured onboarding that gets you to full caseload at your own pace, and direct access to senior PTs and on-site physicians for consults., • Student loan contribution: $5,250/year ($437.50/month) paid directly to your federal or private student loan servicer — the maximum amount allowed tax-free under federal law. Starts after your 90-day introductory period., • CEU stipend: $1,500/year. Use it on CSCS, manual therapy certifications, SFMA — whatever advances your practice., • License reimbursement: We cover your initial NY PT license application and your annual renewal., • NPTE support: If you're still waiting on NPTE results, we can bring you on under a NY limited permit and support your exam prep., • Benefits: Health, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) with employer matching., • Equipment: Alter-G Anti-Gravity Treadmill, full manual therapy setup, sports performance tools. Who we're looking for • Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited program (2024, 2025, or 2026 graduates), • Active New York State Physical Therapy license OR a NY limited permit OR eligible to sit for the NPTE in the next cycle (required), • Strong orthopedic or sports clinical rotations during DPT training, • Genuine interest in manual therapy and an active patient population — athletes, weekend warriors, working adults returning from injury, • Comfortable working in an outpatient practice environment with technician support on the floor, • Coachable, curious, and looking to build a career — not just a first paycheck Why Precision Care We're a multi-location outpatient practice built around integrated care: physical therapy, interventional pain management, and sports performance under one roof. As a new grad, that means your hardest cases don't disappear into a referral loop — the physician managing your patients spine is ten feet away, and you can walk over and ask. That's a year of clinical development you can't get at a standalone outpatient clinic. Outpatient PT in Brooklyn is a tough market to start a career in. We're trying to be the clinic that actually supports new grads through their first year: real mentorship, proper technician support, meaningful comp, schedule flexibility, and a real path forward.
