    I am seeking a reliable and flexible On-Call Driver to keep on retainer to provide transportation for both personal and occasional business needs in the Manhattan area. This role is ideal for someone who is punctual, dependable, and comfortable working with a flexible schedule. The goal is to have a dependable, go-to driver to call with advance notice, rather than relying on services like Uber or Lyft where the driver varies each time. This position is particularly well-suited for someone currently driving for ride-share services such as Uber or Lyft, looking for extra guaranteed income, as it allows you to continue accepting rides between scheduled trips when transportation is not needed. The role will primarily involve evenings and weekends, with up to approximately seven trips per week in Manhattan. A weekly retainer will be paid regardless of whether all trips are used, in exchange for maintaining availability. Responsibilities: • Provide transportation for appointments, errands, and personal engagements, • Be available on an on-call basis with reasonable advance notice, • Primarily provide rides during evenings and weekends, • Adjust routes as needed based on traffic or scheduling changes, • Maintain a clean, well-kept vehicle, • Communicate clearly regarding availability and timing Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, • Currently driving for or familiar with ride-share platforms such as Uber or Lyft preferred, • Strong knowledge of Manhattan roads and traffic patterns, • Dependable, organized, and professional, • Flexible availability, particularly evenings and weekends Compensation: • Weekly retainer for availability (paid weekly regardless of whether trips are taken), • Additional compensation for trips beyond the agreed weekly amount
