Job DescriptionAerospace Parts SpecialistLocation: Carlstadt, NJType of Position: 4 month Contract to HirePay: $23/hourShift: 1st shift & 3rd shift available Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Parts Specialist to join our team. The role involves shipping and receiving parts, materials, cores, and equipment while replenishing inventory in the computer system. The ideal candidate will ensure that there is no visible damage to packages and verify all items received comply with federal regulations and company policies regarding quality, documentation, and traceability, including part number, serial number, and shelf life. Responsibilities • Perform general labor tasks in a warehouse setting., • Assist in supporting the aviation account with logistics and shipment management., • Pull parts based on aviation and airport part numbers., • Carefully wrap products using different techniques and adhesives., • Conduct accurate cycle counting and process incoming and outgoing shipments. Essential Skills • 1-2 years of recent logistics experience within an aviation company., • Experience with warehouse logistics, preferably in the aviation industry., • Proficiency in using systems like WMS and SAP., • Experience in handling parts and materials., • Strong computer skills and cycle counting experience., • Forklift experience Additional Skills & Qualifications • Aerospace logistics experience is strongly preferred., • Previous experience at companies like Airbus, Gulfstream, Pratt, Bombardier, or Frontier is ideal., • Must have aerospace background., • Understanding of specific SAP software and Hazmat training., • Verifiable High School diploma., • Must be willing/able to obtain DOT/IATA certifications. The position offers open shifts: 1st Shift is Sunday to Thursday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, and the 3rd Shift is Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlstadt, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
