Job Description Job Title: Electrician Mechanic $25-$40 Job Description This role focuses on ground-up warehouse construction and a wide range of electrical installation tasks, including bending and installing conduit, wiring, and lighting systems. The Electrician Mechanic works on both overhead and underground conduit runs, installs light fixtures and switches, and uses lifts and tools to complete projects safely and efficiently while following OSHA 10 safety standards. Responsibilities • Install and bend electrical conduit, including pipe bending up to one inch, for ground-up warehouse construction projects., • Run and secure overhead conduit and underground conduit to support power distribution and lighting systems., • Install, wire, and mount overhead light fixtures in warehouse and similar environments., • Install and wire 3-way switches and other control devices according to project specifications and electrical diagrams., • Pull, route, and label wires and cables to ensure accurate identification and future maintenance., • Wire control and panel boxes, including motor controls, following wiring diagrams and blueprints., • Troubleshoot electrical systems, circuits, and equipment to identify issues and implement effective repairs., • Interpret and work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation to complete installations and modifications., • Use hand tools, power tools, and inspection equipment safely and effectively to perform electrical tasks., • Proficiency in wiring control and panel boxes, including motor control systems., • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings., • OSHA 10 certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with ground-up warehouse construction projects., • Familiarity with inspection procedures to verify code compliance and quality standards., • Strong attention to detail when labeling wires and documenting work., • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on active construction sites., • Solid understanding of general construction safety practices in addition to OSHA 10 requirements. Work hours typically follow standard construction schedules and may require flexibility depending on project needs.
