Major Function: Work within the department and with the organization to reduce Accounts Receivables by inputting charges, processing claim, posting payment, and researching denials. Job Duties include, but not limited to: • Charge entry, • Fixing errors on claims, • Processing claim, • Payment posting (manual and electronic), • Denial management, • A/R Management, • Research refunds, credit balances and unapplied, • Help with internal and external phone calls, • Help with the end of the month/quarter AR reports (as assigned), • Help with the end of the month/quarter accounting reports (as assigned), • Deposit (as assigned), • Help with Provider-Payer enrollment (as assigned), • Reconciliation of payments or charges (as assigned), • Maintain access to eligibility websites (as assigned), • Miscellaneous duties (special projects assigned as needed) Requirements: Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent, • Medical or Dental Billing knowledge, • Microsoft Office Knowledge Other Requirements: • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, • Excellent Communication Skills, • Ability to work as a team as well as independently, • Able to travel to other sites, as needed, • Able to sit for long periods of time, • Dedication to follow the CCHN Customer Service Quality Standards, • Flexibility, • Bi-Lingual (Spanish/English) a plus The above job description is not to be construed as a complete listing of the assignments that may be given to any employee, nor are such assignments restricted to those precisely listed in the description.
