Front Of House — 6R Hospitality (Tribeca • Park Slope • West Village • Upper East Side • Upper West Side) ABOUT THE ROLE Our destinations are not places where you clock in and take orders. They are places where stories are told and legends are born over labneh and shakshuka, craft cocktails, steak frites & dirty duck fried rice. Our restaurants are where regulars feel like friends & neighbors, and where the person across the table usually leaves having experienced something they didn't expect. YOU! You are the reason that happens. We're looking for a front of house masters of craft who understand that hospitality is an act of giving — not a transaction. Someone who reads the table, guides a meal, and makes a three-course dinner feel like it was designed specifically for whoever is sitting in front of them. WHO YOU ARE • You don't just describe the menu — you craft the story of experiencing it through sensory details of eating it, • You're curious about food, the stories behind dishes, and how to pair them right, • You're warm without being performative, confident without being pushy, • You move fast and stay composed on a floor that doesn't slow down, • You make everyone feel like they're your only table — even when they're not WHAT YOU'LL DO • Own your section end-to-end: greet, guide, thoughtfully suggest, deliver, follow through, • Know the menu cold — every dish, modification, allergy protocol, and wine pairing, • Partner with the kitchen and your team to execute seamless, impeccable service, • Handle high volume without losing the personal touch that makes Miriam, Miriam, • Contribute to a team culture built on excellence and genuine hospitality WHAT YOU BRING • 1-2+ years of full-service, sit-down restaurant experience (NYC, preferred), • Strong knowledge of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine is a plus, • Wine and cocktail knowledge — or genuine eagerness to learn it, • Ability to stand, move, and carry full trays for 8+ hours, • Flexibility across lunch, dinner, and weekend service COMPENSATION & PERKS • Competitive hourly rate + tips (regularly among the top earners in the borough), • A real management team that communicates, respects your time, and grows with you, • Pathways to leadership for people who want them If you are interested please contact us or schedule an appointment to come by our office.
