The Product Strategy Intern will work closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and other operational leaders to help shape the strategic direction of iA's industry-leading robotics-driven fulfillment platform. This role will focus on translating customer, market, competitive, and industry insights into strategic choices about where to play, how to win, and which opportunities to pursue. The intern will support portfolio and roadmap strategy, evaluate new markets and business models, develop business cases, and help connect product investments to customer value and business outcomes. This position will also leverage AI to accelerate research, synthesize insights, and improve strategic decision-making. The iA Intern Program is a 10-week summer internship, running from Tuesday June 1, 2027, through Friday, August 6, 2027. What you'll do: • Serve as a market and industry intelligence resource by monitoring market trends, customer needs, user behaviors, key value criteria, clinical practices, regulations, and policy to identify strategic opportunities and risks., • Develop a deep understanding of priority market segments, customer needs, user personas, Jobs To Be Done, and value drivers to inform product and portfolio strategy., • Assess the competitive landscape, including product offerings, positioning, strengths, weaknesses, and strategic moves, and translate findings into implications for iA's differentiation and growth strategy., • Support market segmentation, opportunity sizing, and prioritization to help determine where iA should invest, differentiate, and expand., • Collaborate with Engineering teams to design differentiated product solutions., • Partner with Product Management and Product Marketing to connect market insights and business strategy to product vision, portfolio choices, and roadmap priorities., • Evaluate strategic opportunities for new solutions, capabilities, partnerships, and business models, including financial analysis, scenario modeling, and assessment of strategic fit., • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Finance, Engineering, and leadership to test strategic hypotheses, gather feedback, and refine recommendations., • Support product lifecycle and portfolio reviews by evaluating performance, strategic fit, investment tradeoffs, and opportunities to grow, evolve, partner, or retire offerings., • Leverage AI tools to accelerate research, analyze information, identify patterns, and improve the quality and speed of strategic analysis. Who you are: • MBA or current enrollment in an MBA program is preferred, • Prior internship, coursework, or project experience demonstrating strategic thinking and initiative (e.g., market research, case competition, strategy project, hackathon, or entrepreneurial project), • Basic data literacy and quantitative comfort - able to work in Excel/Google Sheets, interpret dashboards or simple SQL query results, and use data to support a point of view, • Analytical and structured problem-solving mindset - comfortable breaking ambiguous questions into hypotheses, analyses, and actionable insights, • Curiosity about markets, customers, technology, competitive dynamics, and business models, • Basic familiarity with strategy, research, analytics, or product tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Notion, Figma, or similar) - nice to have, not mandatory, • Comfortable utilizing AI tools such as Claude to support research, synthesis, analysis, and communication Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. Employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas. Compensation: The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $18 to $26 per hour, though a candidate's hourly rate shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience.
