We strive to find loving homes for homeless and abandoned cats, dogs, guinea pigs and rabbits, both by adopting animals directly to the public and by partnering with more than 200 dedicated animal placement organizations (our New Hope partners). We also help keep NYC communities safe and rescue animals in need, responding to emergencies that involve animals as well as keeping our doors open 24/7 for people and animals in need. Summary This position works with and supports the Animal Care Team and is responsible for direct supervision of Animal Care Specialists. This includes the monitoring of their daily activities, focusing on gold standard care for all animals in our care. You are responsible for clearly communicating job expectations, job training, and holding staff accountable to the approved procedures. Our ideal candidate enjoys providing coaching and guidance, and you have some previous supervisory experience. Ensure that the locations of animals in Shelter Buddy remain accurate and are updated as needed to ensure accuracy. In absence of Care Center Manager, assume all operational responsibilities in managing the Animal Care Center. Upon completion of training and certification, ability to provide emergency euthanasia on an as needed basis. Enthusiastically participate in ACC forums and events including supervisor meetings, trainings, and conference calls, and special events. Collaborate with other organizational leaders to explore new endeavors, reflect on current operations, or otherwise problem solve. Fear Free certification required within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with one year in a role supervising or directing staff as well experience in shelter is preferred. What You'll Do Perform detailed ultrasound examinations of the female reproductive system Support physicians and clinical staff during fertility treatments and procedures Perform ultrasound-guided procedures, including embryo transfers Perform/assist with Sonohysterograms and FemVue Monitor early pregnancy and fetal development through approximately 9 weeks Obtain and document high-quality images and findings Identify and document abnormalities for physician evaluation Provide compassionate, patient-focused care Maintain accurate records and equipment Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff Provide coverage at other locations when needed Qualifications Graduate of an accredited/formal ultrasound training program ARDMS certification – OB/GYN specialty required or obtainable within 90 days Current BLS certification required or obtainable within 60 days 2–4 years of ultrasound experience preferred Experience in OB/GYN, women's health, fertility, reproductive endocrinology, or infertility strongly preferred Strong patient-care and communication skills Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment Why Consider It? $50–$60/hour + a Monday–Friday schedule with NO full-day shifts. We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and safety-focused Mobile Crane Operator to join our team full-time. This position requires someone who is fluent in both English and Spanish, as you will be communicating with customers, contractors, and Spanish-speaking ground crews throughout the day. Responsibilities • Safely operate hydraulic truck cranes on commercial and residential job sites., • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections., • Set up cranes safely, including proper outrigger placement and job site preparation., • Read and understand lift plans and follow OSHA, ANSI, and company safety procedures., • Work closely with customers, signal persons, and ground crews to complete lifts safely and efficiently., • Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively at every job site., • Assist in keeping equipment clean and well-maintained., • Complete required paperwork and inspection reports.
