Compensation: $53 - $56 hourly Responsibilities: • Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to hospice patients in their homes, ensuring comfort and dignity., • Manage symptoms effectively, tailoring care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient and family., • Offer emotional support and guidance, fostering a trusting relationship with patients and their loved ones., • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, sharing insights and expertise to enhance patient care., • Conduct regular assessments and adjust care plans as needed, ensuring optimal patient outcomes., • Educate patients and families on hospice care processes, empowering them with knowledge and confidence., • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, reflecting the quality and continuity of care provided.Qualifications:, • Must be willing to drive, • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey, • 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience (hospice, palliative care, or related field preferred), • Knowledge of hospice philosophy and end-of-life care, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and team members, • Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, • Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail, • Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) and related healthcare softwareAbout Company Spero Hospice is a group of dedicated, hardworking professionals who understand that individuals and families entering hospice care may feel scared, overwhelmed, sad, or unsure.
