Position: CDL A Truck Driver Location: Roselle, NJ (serving VMG Group or related contractor logistics) Job Summary: Operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport construction materials, equipment, or waste between job sites, warehouses, and suppliers. Support construction projects by ensuring timely delivery and pick-up of materials. Must comply with all DOT, OSHA, and safety regulations while driving. (Common requirement for this type of work in the area.) Typical Duties: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; document any mechanical issues. Safely operate tractor-trailers or heavy vehicles to deliver building materials to job sites. Coordinate with project supervisors or dispatchers on schedule and delivery details. Load and unload materials as needed or oversee helpers who do so. Ensure compliance with delivery schedule and report delays or issues promptly. Responsibilities: Under direction, operates, maintains, and repairs all components of the water pumping, storage, and distribution system. Read, record, and transmit water meter readings. At times it will be necessary to work extended hours or in inclement weather or during nighttime conditions, including holidays. Operators are required to serve in a system standby rotation and be available to respond to water emergencies.
