Job DescriptionSalary: $95,000 - $115,000 Entek Consulting Group is seeking a knowledgeable, CAC certified, and detail-oriented Industrial Hygiene and Environmental ConsultingProject Manager to lead programs and initiatives aimed atanticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and controlling workplace health hazards. The successful candidate willbe responsible formanaging industrial hygiene projects that ensure a safe and compliant working environment, while minimizing occupational exposures and health risks across ourclientsoperations. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, manage, and execute industrial hygiene/environmental consultingprojects focused on exposure assessment, monitoring, and control of chemical, physical, and biological hazards., • Conduct workplace assessments and sampling for airborne contaminants, noise, heat stress, ventilation, and other occupational exposures., • Analyze data and prepare comprehensive technical reports with findings and actionable recommendations., • Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health regulations (e.g., OSHA, NIOSH, ACGIH, EPA) and internal EHS standards., • Collaborate withOperationsteamto implement control measures and corrective actions., • Provide expertconsultationto clients in the areas ofhazard communication,environmentalhazards,respiratory protection, hearing conservation, and other IH-related programs., • Maintainaccuraterecords, exposure data, and documentation for audits and regulatory inspections., • Provide training and guidance to employees and supervisors on industrial hygiene principles and practices., • Manage Field Technician staff and provide support and training., • Oversee project scheduling and coordinate with other PMs to ensureappropriatestaffingacross projects., • Support incident investigations involving occupational illnesses or hazardous exposures., • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate third-party IH services when needed., • Collaborate with Operation Manger to assign work to field staff and manage workload of team strategically., • Draft change orders as needed., • Draft client proposals as needed., • Ensure client satisfaction with work and lead resolution of client concerns., • Oversee and ensure completion of internal documentation and communications. Qualifications: • Bachelors degree in IndustrialHygiene, Occupational Health,Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geology,Engineering ,EnvironmentalScience, or related field.Experience may be considered in lieu of degree., • 5+ years of experience in industrial hygiene, with project or program management responsibilities., • 2+ years ofexperiencemanaging teams., • In-depth knowledge of IH sampling methods, exposure limits, engineering controls, and PPE requirements., • Experience with IH instrumentation and software (e.g., sound level meters, air sampling pumps,rotameters, moisture meters,etc)., • Ability and willingness to perform field work in a variety of conditions., • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills., • Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management and EHS compliance softwarea plus., • Must have a minimum of a Cal/OSHA Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) and a CDPH Lead Sampling Technician. There is an expectation that the candidate will already have or will have scheduled the additionaltrainingrequiredto achieve the Cal/OSHA Certified Asbestos Consultant and CDPH Lead Inspector/Assessor certification within 1-2 years of entering this role. This role regularly engages in outdoor work and successful candidates will need to be able to perform work outdoors, sometimes in inclement weather The job requires climbing of ladders, working on elevated platforms and roofs,and workingin confined spaces. Project Managers regularly need to transport, lift, and carry customary job tools, up to 50lbs.
