Job Description Job Title: Production Manufacturing Associate Pay: $18 - 19/HR Shift: Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-4pm, Lunch 12:15pm-1pm Job Description Join a dynamic team where you will engage in various tasks within shipping, receiving, and production. This role requires flexibility and a willingness to learn different functions. You will be instrumental in assembling adhesives, packaging orders, and ensuring quality control in our production processes. Responsibilities • Work collaboratively in shipping, receiving, and production roles., • Assemble adhesives and package customer orders efficiently., • Cut rolls of fireproof tape to specified sizes with precision., • Measure and inject the correct amount of hardener into glue products., • Repackage products such as glue, caulk, and adhesives as needed., • Maintain detailed records and ensure accuracy in all measurements., • 1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience., • 6 months of packaging experience, including operating wrapping equipment., • Ability to measure and weigh accurately, including decimal calculations., • Strong attention to detail and ability to read and write effectively., • Good math skills: addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication., • Experience in warehouse operations and material handling., • Ability to pick and pack items weighing up to 50 lbs., • Proficiency in using hand tools and working on an assembly line. Work Environment The company specializes in producing high-temperature materials and adhesives for industrial applications. The work environment is business casual, operating Monday through Thursday from 9am to 5pm and Friday from 9am to 4pm, with a lunch break from 12:15pm to 1pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
